To carry out the activities envisaged in the framework of PROCULTHER-NET 2, the project team is looking for a Project Assistant. Applications must be received at the e-mail address indicated in the call by 28 January 2024.
PROCULTHER-NET 2 aims at implementing the pathway mapped out by the PROCULTHER-NET project in order to consolidate the inclusion of the protection of cultural heritage at risk in the Union Civil Protection Mechanism processes and structures increasing disaster preparedness capacities and knowledge at European and national levels throughout the Union Civil Protection Knowledge Network (UCPKN). A thematic community will be established within the UCPKN by reinforcing interdisciplinary, cross-sectoral, inter-agency preparedness capacities and facilitating the transfer of knowledge, as well as the integration of innovative practices/processes/instruments at European level. In order to increase interoperability standards and preparedness capacities, PROCULTHER-NET 2 will also reinforce knowledge management process linked to this sector within the UCPKN as well as extending, informing, feeding and advocating for the inclusion of all relevant actors in the community, including those participating in other UCPM-funded projects and countries that are involved in UCPM initiatives (e.g., IPA countries, countries of the Mediterranean basin, other neighbourhood countries).
Under the overall guidance of the Project Manager and the supervision of the Project Director, the expert has the responsibility to support the project manager in managing knowledge and processes related to the establishment of a thematic community focused on the protection of cultural heritage at risk.
