The DCTP – Department of Heritage Studies and the CITCEM – Transdisciplinary Centre “Culture, Space and Memory” of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto are organizing the International Heritage Summer School 2022 (IHSS 2022) which will take place of July 2022.
The IHSS Douro’22 aim to promote a space for dialogue and promotion of knowledge on the themes of Cultural Heritage and Landscape and the new challenges that these themes must be discussed for the 21st century. The theme proposed for the Summer School is “Landscapes: borders, thresholds and peripheries”, and it are intended to discuss issues of cultural policies, social welfare, readings, and interpretation of the landscape and safeguarding and promoting cultural heritage.
