The IT-FR cooperation for heritage science will reach its 5th seminar on the 28th of June, 2023 from 9:30am to 1:30pm. The event will be held in Naples at the Sala degli Angeli of the Suor Orsola Benincasa University and online via Teams.

The title of the seminar is “Human-centred approach for cultural heritage in digital transition: Disciplines talking to each other”. This particular event will focus on the role of cultural heritage in the digital transition, gathering experts from major Italian (Ministry of Culture – Digital Library, Institute for Heritage Science – CNR, Suor Orsola Benincasa University and University of Naples Federico II) and French (National Institute of Heritage, Interdisciplinary Centre of Heritage Restauration and Protection, Centre for Research and Restoration of Museums of France, Château de Versailles, Cergy-Pontoise University) institutions.

Experts will pitch important actions and initiatives to define and underpin the role of cultural heritage in the digital transition.

The event is coordinated by the two ministries of Culture of Italy and France, the Institute for Heritage Science – CNR, the French Embassy in Italy, the French Institute in Italy, the Heritage Science Foundation and the Suor Orsola Benincasa University. The event is also supported by the TICHE Foundation (Technological Innovation in Cultural HEritage) and the French-Italian University.
