On 22 April 2026, we invite you to join the 2026 European Heritage Label Ceremony, the flagship event of the European Heritage Label, where we will officially welcome the newly selected European Heritage Label Sites.
The ceremony will mark the culmination of the selection process, officially announced on February 2026, and will open with a keynote address by Commissioner for Intergenerational Fairness, Youth, Culture and Sport Glenn Micallef. As part of a broader programme, the ceremony will feature dedicated stakeholder moments, activities, artistic performances, a gala dinner for all guests and will be followed by the EHL Forum, closed to the EHL Community.
Beyond celebrating the newly selected sites, the 2026 Ceremony will also be a special moment to mark 15 years of the European Heritage Label. Over the past decade and a half, the EHL has connected heritage and people across Europe, recognising sites that embody and promote European ideals, values, history, and integration.
