The first workshop of the REFIT project (Resituating Europe’s First Towns) – Exploring Integrated Approaches to Cultural Landscapes. Current Strategies, Problems and Potential. Iron Age Oppida as a case study – aims to confront the issues around practical management and development of cultural landscapes in the three partner countries, focusing on the project case studies. Particular attention will be given to stakeholder involvement. 25 short communications by researchers and experts in heritage management will stimulate debates.
REFIT is one of the 16 projects funded within the Heritage Plus joint call launched by the JPI on Cultural Heritage in 2014.
The meeting will be held in Bibracte (Burgundy, France), 21-23 March 2016.
