Hosted in Leuven as part of the official event calendar of the Belgian presidency of the Council of the European Union, this event welcomes policymakers, academics, practitioners, and wider stakeholders to chart a course for the advancement of cultural and heritage ecosystems within a regional, national, and European context while facing global challenges.

Join us on a collaborative journey towards new frontiers, anchored in the rich tapestry of European cultural heritage.

Event Highlights:

  • European Perspective: Engaging with stakeholders from European Union Institutions, Una Europa, EIT Culture & Creativity, European Heritage Hub, and many other relevant cultural and heritage ecosystems, strengthening joint commitment and engaging in an exercise of collective intelligence.
  • Regional Spotlight: An exploration of Flanders’ perspectives in accelerating European futures, with regional authorities and institutions, and catalysts such as Leuven MindGate.
  • Key Themes: In-depth discussions on pivotal themes such as the Triple Transformation (green, digital, and social), entrepreneurial capacity of the sector, strengthening interdisciplinarity, and diversifying ecosystems.
  • Exploratory Dialogues: A series of discourses on cultural and heritage education, research, and societal outreach, focusing on policy perspective and identifying pioneering ways forward.
