EFAITH (European Federation of Associations of Industrial and Technical Heritage) had planned to hold its annual weekend for volunteers and associations in the spring of this year, as well as a meeting on conservation and access to railway heritage.
Unfortunately, Corona makes this impossible.
The annual weekend has already been postponed from last year to this year and will now probably only take place at the beginning of 2022.

However, in order to enable an exchange of ideas and experience on how to deal with railway and tramway heritage within the framework of the European Year of Rail, we will be organising two online events before the summer holidays, during which aspects of railway heritage conservation can be discussed.
These are scheduled in the form of webinars for
– 10 May
– 7 June
in the afternoon: 15:00-17:00 (3-5 pm), CET

Interested parties will have the opportunity to present their operation or project, or an aspect of railway heritage in their region.
Duration of the presentation: 15 minutes max.
Languages: English or French
Presenters are given the opportunity to show their screen and to use e.g. a powerpoint.
Interested speakers should register before 5 May and 2 June respectively.
They should send a short summary of the planned presentation to the EFAITH Secretariat.

For those who have no experience in presenting during a webinar, an introduction to the system and an exercise can be organised beforehand.
