Tourism has been one of the sectors most affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, with severe repercussions for the general economic prospects of the European Union.
The TRACE project aims at improving and monitoring the sustainability performance of SMEs in the tourism sector, taking into account the specific needs of the tourism industry that is facing the challenge of sustainability, increasing SMEs awareness and capacity to develop and integrate innovations in sustainable business practice. The project is aimed at 100 European SMEs in the tourism sector to become 'champions' of sustainability and develop a business innovation plan oriented towards the circular economy.
